- Excavation: Our experienced groundworkers reduced the ground levels to prepare for strip foundations.
- Strip Foundations: Foundations were dug and filled with mass concrete.
- Brickwork up to DPC: Bricklayers built the structure up to the damp-proof course (DPC) using a 150mm cavity wall construction with brick and block.
- Sub-base Preparation: The area was stoned up with Type 1 MOT aggregate to form a stable sub-base.
- Insulation & Slab: Provision was made for 100mm Kingspan insulation and 150mm of C35 concrete reinforced with 10mm A493 mesh.
This approach ensures a robust foundation, good thermal insulation, and reinforcement for structural integrity.
