We install both concrete and plastic pipework ranging from 150mm to 1200mm, construct reinforced concrete manholes, and build Hydrobrakes (flow control chambers) to precise specifications. Our services also include road connections, adoptable sewers, and all associated infrastructure works, providing complete and durable drainage systems built to the highest quality.

Manhole Construction and Hydrobrakes

Our skilled team constructs precast and in-situ concrete manholes of all sizes, complete with benching, step irons, and cover slabs, ensuring full compliance with Sewerage Sector Guidance (SSG) and adoptable standards. We also install Hydrobrakes and flow control chambers to regulate storm water discharge, providing efficient and sustainable drainage systems.
Road Formation and Kerb Bracing
At Whiting Construction Ltd, we deliver high-quality road formation and kerb bracing works across the Midlands, including Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and Staffordshire. Our experienced groundworks team constructs adoptable roads from sub-base to surface, ensuring strength, durability, and accuracy at every stage.
We carry out full road build-ups, including excavation, sub-base compaction, laying of Type 1 stone, and preparation for binder and surface courses. Our teams also install kerb lines and concrete kerb braces to exact alignment and levels, providing a precise finish ready for surfacing and adoption.
